What's with my ps3 it's not working right?

This has been going on for months now so i've just turned to yahoo for an decent answer. My ps3 stopped working when i put an file on it from my flash drive. It doesn't read disc and i know the disc reader is not broke because it reads the game perfectly until i try to actually play the game. Such as mw2 or blackops i tried mw2 and the game loaded up perfectly and then i went to spec ops and tried to play a match and it started to load VERY SLOW and half way throught it it froze then i tried hitting the psn button to Quit Game and it didnt move... I waited a few seconds and it beeped and didn't turn off just froze on a black screen. Same with black ops multiplayer zombies and single player. Any Good Answers?
