Intel vs AMD, i need a new laptop?

Between those two computers its the acer hands down. the i5 will spank the AMD in pretty much any test. I am no fan of Acer build quality but everything in that HP appears to be out of date. VISTA ? Hitachi 640 HD? Ill pass and take the smaller more portable and powerful Acer and be 90 % sure i made the right choice.
