Its been almost a year. is it pathetic?

yup, im another one of those guys u see on here who misses his ex. we were friends for like 10 years before i asked her to the prom (her prom i already graduated). but after that night it was on. i lived with her for 2 out of the 3 years we dated. it was good for the most part but we broke up like 10 months ago now and i still think about her like every damn day all day and it sucks. anyway i did what everyone tells u to do and i cut off contact, took her of my facebook etc. but whenever i hop on facebook im always a little hopeful that she tried to contact me or something but it never happens. shes the one who always used to say lets stay friends no matter what happens. shes with this other dude that was a family friend of theirs even though she always used to make fun of him behind his back but nothing too harsh. i dont even know why im worrying about but is it pathetic that i still care about her. i dated since but nothing compared to her so those relationships just dissolved
